What makes you empathic or not?

Are you worried about raising kind kids...well how about turning the question to you first, the mother, the parent before turning it back to your kids.  

Brian Goldman, a father of 2 thought he had become unkind a few years back, so he went on a journey, traveling accross countries to uncover what makes somes individuals truly kind and empathic...

He also uncovered how our brain is affected by acts of kindness and how different experiences that can help develop kindness in each one of us.

He is the author of the book 'The Power Of Kindness: Why Empathy Is Essential In Everyday Life', father of 2, husband, has been working as an ER Physician for over 35 years at Mount Sinai Hospital in Toronto, Canada.  Among many other things he has accomplished such as his TEDtalk and working as a health reporter for The National & CBC Television......he has an award-winning radio show on CBC called 'White Coat, Black Art' where he goes behind the scenes of hospitals and doctor's offices.
