Dr. Beverly-Jean Daniel, an assistant professor at the Ryerson University in Toronto, a black mother of 4 and with more than 25 years experience working with race, racism and helping black youth in our communities develop positive racial identities explains is very clearly using mom related examples of how racism can appear in our daily lives without even realizing it.
